In the third quarter of 2025, the top photo and video applications on the unified platform in Russia showcased interesting trends in downloads, revenue, and user engagement, according to data from Sensor Tower.

CapCut - Video Editor from Bytedance Pte. Ltd saw fluctuations in weekly revenue, peaking at about $29.6K in mid-August, while weekly downloads ranged between 164K and 195K. Active users remained strong, starting at 11M in early July and climbing to nearly 11.6M by the end of September.

Instagram, published by Instagram, Inc., experienced a decline in revenue from $2.6K to $499 over the quarter. Despite this, downloads remained relatively stable, with a slight dip to 139K mid-September. Active users hovered around 17M to 19M throughout the period.

YouTube maintained consistent revenue, averaging around $70K to $85K weekly. Downloads were steady, with minor variations between 40K and 54K. The platform's active user base was robust, consistently around 64M to 69M.

Snapchat, although not generating revenue, saw its downloads rise to 145K by the end of September. Active users increased from 4.9M to 5.8M over the quarter.

Lastly, Peachy - AI Face & Body Editor showed a revenue peak of $4.8K in August, with downloads falling to 29K towards the end of the quarter. Active users saw a decline from 255K to 187K.
